A snazzy, eye catching headline for sure, but this article is full of a bunch of sensationalist quotes.

Open Source software has been around since the dawn of the computer age, and I surely see no evidence that it’s destroyed wealth. In fact, quite the contrary. So, has Microsoft Office been hurt by OpenOffice? Nope. Has Linux hurt Microsoft Windows? Nope. Has Apple dominated the mobile computing industry for the last few years, with their expensive, closed system? Yep.

Of course, only time will truly tell, but I for one am happy to see Android on the market. I say bring it, and let’s just see if the Apples and Microsofts “come to an end”… or join the race to the bottom on price in order to match Androids price point.
